Having received the message from Pacifica, Daymar will recruit a pair of guards to escort him to the command centre, with plans to convert any prisoners taken.

meaning Pacifica's aft command center on deck 9, yes? you've taken a lot of prisoners between your fore command center and the officer's quarters as well.

Excellent. Hopefully this at least delays self destruct orders until they can get a runner.

Let's start with the nearest concentration of prisoners and work our way towards the command centre.

The Reporting officer is hit badly, but somehow stays up, and fires the laser wildly at Hua's hex. The fire is ineffective, though she feels the beam pass over her skin too rapidly to have any real effect.

The captain speaks into the comm "Self Destruct!". (this is as far as he gets in the one second of combat)

You've got a lot of work cut out for Daymar. on the battlefield you just fought there are 18 people if you ignore the severely wounded, and 27 if you cover them as well. Go ahead and roll.

If I keep blazing away I'm just going to run out of ammo so I'll take a second to line up my shot then fire five shots to the neck.

Daymar is going to focus on the 18 able-bodied prisoners, ignoring the severely wounded for now. He gets his guards to cover each prisoner as he touches them, in case of attack.

While Hua is still aiming, the officer slumps to the ground, felled by the previous trauma to his neck.

It will be eight minutes or so. They're captured a large number of enemy, including most of the officers, and Daymar is brainwashing them. After that, Daymar will come to brainwash Pacifica's prisoners.
