The ones Bain shot were at the back. That's why none of the PCs were hurt.

Cleave steps back (to the side really, as telrith is behind it) and strikes at the bug that was getting in its face... but misses.

Thanks brother, is the drainage for only one insect or will it work for other that fall in near range?

For as many as will fit and flow into the hole. I'll be disappointed if its only one. The hole (or trench really) extends down the center of the fort, so it should catch most bug puddles.
