[IC] Lost in Dreams (Dr. Alan Parker)

There's the light he saw before: its reasonably closer, maybe a 100 yards away. It seems to be inside a house.

He goes to the house and knocks on the door and if nobody answers he attempts to open the door and explore the inside.

The light uses kerosene, and is shining through a window. A pair of weathered people in their late 50's are reading something out loud, though he can't tell what. Dr. Parker Knocks. The reading stops, then a few moments later a young voice yells in german "We've got a naked man at the door!". Austrian German, if he got his accent right. The group pauses for a moment. Then the floor starts creaking and the door cracks open, and the weathered man talks through it.

"Where are your clothes? Why are you here?"

"I'm very sorry to trouble you sir! but I seem to be lost. I woke up earlier in a field missing my clothes and no idea how I got there. Can you help me?"

He flashes them a warm smile in an attempt to show his friendliness.

The man looks at him suspiciously -- Dr. Parker has an accent on his German. "You're not from here. Where are you from? Kurt! the man needs a blanket!"

OCC: no roll, but with the accented german, there is no way he can pass for local.

"I'm from Creek County, are you from Austria, what county are we in?"

OOC: I've been meeting to write a biography for Parker, but the idea is that he is a professor from North Georgia.

"Salzburg." He doesn't answer if its in austria or not, but Dr. Parker recognizes the name of the province. Its in austria.

"Creek County? What are you doing here? Do I need to call the police?"

His voice is slow and suspicious, but calm.

"Salzburg? I'm in Austria?

I'm not sure the police are needed, do you have a cellphone I could borrow so I can call one of my friends back in America to help figure out what's going on?

Also a robe or anything it's quite chilly in Austria, I'll repay your kindness however I can."

The man grabs the blanket from his son and throws it at Dr. Parker. Its coarse, thin, and worn, but much better than nothing.

"Yes, this is Salzburg. Do you feel unwell? If you wish to call the American embassy you will need to go to town."

"Can you point me in the general direction of town? thanks for your hospitality"

Parker wraps the blanket into a loose toga, a clothing style he knows well.
