Re: [IC] Lost in Dreams (Chandra)
"I see. <thinks for a moment>. Please report on what you find first thing tomorrow. I am staying at the <he fishes in his pocket and hands her a card> Bedford Hotel. Room 34. I will be doing research of my own throughout the evening though."
The card is from the hotel. Chandra feels an odd tingling around it with her sixth sense.

Once she's out of his sight, she tries to concentrate on the card and see if she can clarify what she's feeling. Does it seem to be broadcasting or communicating like Hailey's item, or is the tingling something different?

Its a different kind of magic, but it is "broadcasting", as it were: the magic is ranging far and wide.

Re: [IC] Lost in Dreams (Chandra)
Chandra's lips purse. A tracer of some kind, more than likely, she thinks, meant to make me easier to locate. She carefully memorizes the information and then places the card in the nearest dustbin, before walking away.
A magic-wielder, but is he one of Hailey's crew? Or has she been caught? If so, this might be one of Infinity's people, trying to roll up loose ends. A shrug. Or he might just be someone on a mission of his own, hoping to find his information without spending a small fortune. Never overlook the simple. Walking back to the doctor's office, she tries to remember what information she can about the gentlemen who had been to India. What she does next depends on how much she remembers, and whether the doctor is present when she returns.

Re: [IC] Lost in Dreams (Chandra)
The card falls into the dustbin, still pulsing its magic.
Its late in the day, and the doctor has left... he'd left before Chandra left in the first place, in fact. She can remember most of their names -- everyone she remembers either the first or last name. There were what four in total? Three had titles, and she remembers all of those. She's missing one last name and one first name. Doctor Maxwell is the one she remembered best. He said something about practicing in the next town over... but she'd need to look him up. Another is in London. The others she doesn't remember where they are living.

Re: [IC] Lost in Dreams (Chandra)
I'm going to say making it look the same is housekeeping. I'd prefer search to research. She doesn't have that, but I'll allow research at -2. A speed reading roll can give +1. Attentive bonus (and penalty) is granted.
She finds the information for all of the folks. The doctor one town over is the closest, but the colonel a good 20 miles away is probably the most likely to know someone who speaks the language.

Re: [IC] Lost in Dreams (Chandra)
What are her options for communication, besides personal visits? Telephone? Telegraph? Mail? (Around the Victorian era, it wasn't unusual to get the post several times a day.) If she does have to go face to face, what are her options for transport here?

Re: [IC] Lost in Dreams (Chandra)
Mail is delivered a twice times a day, but so are telegraph messages! They come with the same frequency as mail, but are faster.
Her transportation options are a cab or to go on foot. The cab is the most expensive option, and probably compares in speed with sending a telegraph. The mail option likely takes a day, given that you are in different towns.

Re: [IC] Lost in Dreams (Chandra)
Does she have the funds for a wire, given her other expenses? (Both current and planned.)
