Graham puts his hands up in surrender. "I mean it! The Lady Elhollora put it in my head and I practiced it enough that it stuck! Then I got kidnapped and taken to a world with 'porting lizards and then I woke up somewhere else and eventually I woke up here!"

Assinar: "And what about the shield? how did you get past that?"

[momothefiddler]

"Wow! You know about the shield.
...I don't know. Nobody ever figured it out. I don't jump on purpose. It just happens. While I'm asleep."

[ericthered]

Assinar: "how can I claim to be a tyrant and not know about the shield? you insult me. but I believe you. You know just enough and just little enough. Do you even speak the local language?"

[momothefiddler]

"What, here? No. I just arrived yesterday."

[ericthered]

Assinar: "Hmph. And what magic do you know? you obviously have some interesting tricks up your sleeve, to be able to see me like you do."

[momothefiddler]

"Oh, uh, actually I can't see you. Just the invisibility spell. I mean not see, but know of? Or something. Anyway, without that, I wouldn't know where you were. I mean, unless I could actually see you. But if you were behind a tree or something..."

He fumbles words and trails off.

Assinar: "Keep going. What other magic do you know?"

[momothefiddler]

"Learned a bit of Slythanian magic. Just enough to temporarily affect small animals and such, though - I wasn't there all that long either. I know a bit of the theory, too - which plants and where make for a better environment and whatnot. And people keep insisting that the tech on my home world counts as magic too, so I guess I know a bit of the theory of that."

Assinar's voice indicates he's at a little of a loss, and unsure what to do-- but certainly engaged with this problem.

"What about travelling between the worlds? tell me ALL the magic you know."
