"We just speak with the land" quick foot states. "The shamans I mean. They call on the spirits of the land, and they hear him an come to our aid. Kind of like how your people speak to their axes and the axes kill beasts, or talk to other axes, or cut down trees."

Stone interrupts him "We will take you to shaman, and feed you. Shaman will be able to tell if you are a big head or not, and he will know how we are to treat you."

Elijah gives Quick Foot an annoyed glance, "I'd never even heard of a Big-Head before, how could I be one? And wouldn't I have a big head?" He looks back to Stone, "Fair enough, thank you, Stone."

Quick Foot cheerfully says "Just as the terrible claw tribe does not have talons on their feet, the big head tribe does not have big heads. I think. The tales are not clear. Stories of big heads who ask about that are though. Big heads have hard times with names. They take them too literally and make up words instead. So a big head doesn't know his own tribe. He tries to make up a word that nobody knows for his tribe name. Like you did. You do everything like a big head. where is your talking axe?"

The warrior leads you out of the forest onto a sparsely treed plain. You can see dinosaurs off in the distance... or are those boulders. you can't tell. He leads you up over a series of hills, presumably towards his camp. Quick foot cheerily describes more and more about the big head tribe, with their talking and moving axes, their strange words, and how "Beyond Great Lost" is almost definitely one.

"Our tribe is named after a Big head word: 'Dog'. The name was given to us by a big head we followed around for quite some time. Before that we were the foot mark watcher tribe. He said that we reminded him of the creature, and when he described dog to the elders, they liked the qualities. That was before Stone's grandfather though."

As they walk, Elijah tries to find a compromise between listening to the information that Quick Foot is sharing, and trying to ignore his heckling. "Tell me more about these talking axes; what do they look like?"

When Quick Foot shares some of their tribes history, Elijah pauses for a moment, then asks, "If Dog is a Big-Head word, then wouldn't other tribes not know it, and think it was a made up word when you told them what your tribe's name was? Wouldn't they think you were Big-Heads?"

"The talking axes can look like anything. Some look like the hip of a King Hunter. Others look like spears or rocks. There are as many kinds of talking axes as there are kinds of trees."

"Dog is a well known big head word. The other tribes know what one is, and we cannot call it anything else. They call us big heads anyways: the bighead who gave us the name married into the tribe."

"Interesting..." A King Hunter must be a Tyrannosaurus Rex... Elijah continues to walk with Stone and Quick Foot, going wherever they were leading.

The camp has many... Tents? The structures have skin roofs, but mud is piled up around the edges, two feet tall.

A young girl comes running up as you approach. "Stone! what brings you back so early? and who is the strange man?"

Quick foot cuts in "This is Beyond Great Lost. We think he is of the big head tribe."

Elijah sighs at the expansion of his new name. "My "tribe" called me Elijah, but if I have to choose between Lost, and Beyond Great Lost, I'll stick with the former." He sends Quick Foot a quick glare, "I'm pretty sure I'm not a Big-Head. I've never seen an axe talk or fly."

"E-lie-Jah?" The girl tries the name out "what kind of a name is that? What does it mean?"

Stone interupts her "Fast Tongue, we need to bring Lost, or ... he's Lost for now, to shaman. Do you know which camp he is in?"

Fast Tongue rolls her eyes. "Shaman just left. He and Kills Beasts are visiting all the camps, seeing if we have any signs of the fire mountain god."

Lost it is. Elijah looks confused for a moment at the mention of the fire mountain god, then he says, "Wait, fire mountain god? Are we talking about a big mountain that spews fire?"
