Default Is there a reason none of the GURPS Travelelr products are available as POD on Amazon

I'm trying to buy up everything GURPS Traveller now. I see that the PDFs are still available on Warehouse 23. And Far Future Enterprises sells GURPS Traveller on CD-ROM.

But why no POD products. The few PDFs I own were all made in Quark Xpress 6.5. So, they're not scans. They're properly rendered PDFs and should make nice looking POD products.

Default Re: Is there a reason none of the GURPS Travelelr products are available as POD on Am

It takes a certain amount of money and staff effort to set up an item in their POD service. When it comes to Traveller, licensing is also a stumbling block. So SJG is releasing a few more POD titles every so often -- but evidently haven't yet found Traveller to be a good return on that investment.

Here's a brief thread from about six weeks ago on the topic.

Note in particular ericbsmith's post #6, which has some links to other threads about self-printing options. SJG grants the owners of a PDF the right to make one hardcopy for personal use. (Though the link to the old location of that FAQ is giving me a 404, so I won't put the link here. It lives, or lived, on Warehouse 23, as opposed to here.)
