I like that! I was thinking of Jean's attitude to knowledge being acquired at the right time, in the right way ... that understanding the process counts for more than having the tool. (As opposed to Vappy, who'd love to have mortals reliant on a bunch of tools they don't understand properly.) Still, this is likely something Lightning learned from Knowledge, and I could easily see the quote's being one of Raphael's.
