Default The Big Announcement

Color Munchkin is coming to a store near you!

This revision (including tweaks to the whole line) is the culmination of over a year of work. I am thrilled that I can finally talk about it. I can't reveal everything yet, but I'll talk about what I can.

My most sincere thanks to all of you for making this possible.

Very Cool Andrew. Can't wait to add this to my collection.

Do we have any idea when the last of 18th edition went out to distro. I know my local is still working on selling 17th so not sure when they will start selling 19th so I can promote it.

There's going to be some overlap in the supply chain, unfortunately. Best suggestion I can offer is to buy all their current stock tomorrow morning so they'll resupply faster.

... what?

As awesome as this is, now I have a reason to wait on buying expansions until their color reprints come up, guess WFS and Fairy Dust will have to hold me over for a while.

Hmm.

For those of us who bought the Christmas special edition to get some color Munchkin cards can anyone give any hints what the/any differences might be between those color cards and the new ones?

Thanks.

Andrew, Ok, now I have to figure out what to do with the old sets.... Sheech!

Color, what a novel idea. Now they will match my Munchkin Fu!

Any idea when the new rules sheets will be posted online?

Thank you

Pat

Well, The Illuminator says, "If you want to use the updated rules in your current game, we've got you covered; check this space tomorrow." So, hopefully, tomorrow, someone will remember to tell you where to look.

I have to repeat what Andrew said: It is SUCH a huge relief to be able to talk about this now.

I don't know much about the box for the 17th or 18th printings, but, the 19th printing has: The Super Munchkin with the "big" eyes; a stylized separator with the munchkin head at its center between "Game Design by Steve Jackson" and "Illustrated by John Kovalic"; a picture of full-color cards on the back; the "bottom" side panel says, "1st Edition, 19th Printing/Published April 2010." So, you should be able to figure it out when you go to the store what you're getting. The box is also heavier because there's a cardboard insert. Oh, and those 2 extra pages of rules. . . ;-)

I guess it's time for me to buy the core game :P I have Cthulhu and Super Munchkin and all expansions for both; but now that the core has color, it's coming time to GET IT!
