That's not really accurate to understanding. You might well have greater pressure (that's the point of the exercise) but not gas speed. That's a basic thing limited by physics.
Beyond a certain point if you pump more energy into a gas, pressure increases (and more energy gets turned into heat) but it doesn't speed up.
More noise for higher pressures is normal (see magnums) but you'll see less flash and noise if you eliminate unburned powder. That's a major source along with supersonic gasses.
