I know I myself put a strong focus on the sex part, but actually the disad itself only requires you to make passes - and then suffer the consequences (and that is for 15 points).
So Lecherousness is NOT a sexual addiction. It is an addiction to "romance" (as the disad says), or rather "the act of romancing" ("Hey sweetie, haven't I seen you around here somewhere before. - That's a mighty nice smile you're boasting there" ... etc etc).
In other words: the character is addicted to the attention he gets when making passes/is romancing someone.
Of course such a virile young dwarf as himself will also take the sex part when they get to it, but that is not what the disad is targetted towards (as I nterpret it).

I'm the GM. So far I rules -5 pts, because that is what I think is going to be fair. But let not that end the discussion, it might change my mind.

Actually I have a question hwo others see lecherousness. Is it "Being obnoxius to all attractive women" or is it "being extremely horny".

For instance, suppose a known enemy is an atractive woman and she offers the character in question some favours if he help "do somthing bad" first. Would this require a Self Controll roll or not?

Ie. Does the character actually have to do anything outside of hitting obnoxiusly on all woman?

[edit]hahah, I just saw your post Rune. I agree with your intepretation, and as such the character wouldn't have to roll avoid accepting the Bad Woman's offer. He could just do so if he wanted.

Also note that just because he's bedded the merchant's daughter once, won't mean he won't want to try again.

"..but my father said I wasn't to see you again." etc etc, leading to escapades through bedroom windows, being chased through the streets in his underwear with an angry dwarf armed with a blunderbuss- "I'm never buying loot from your party again!"

On mission, he's unlikely to shut-up about his conquests, or who he'll spend his loot on, or who was the prettiest dwarf in the last city, which would earn him a reaction penalty.

Well, a wide variety of mental and social disadvantages can become quirks if the GM isn't interested in abusing them, but as a GM, if someone took lechery (dwarves) as more than a quirk, I'd make sure to use it as a club every so often.

IMO, it's the latter. Desire for what Characters euphemistically refers to as 'romance' is what motivates the character.

The obnoxiousness comes in if the PC has low Carousing/Sex Appeal/Savior-Faire/Fast-Talk skills, or is making unwelcome advances (i.e., the PC has already tried the above skills and was told to buzz off).

Special Effect. Either way will waste time, get the character into social trouble, etc, and so is valid as a Disadvantage. I use Lecherous for shameless horndogs who get punched in the mouth by married guys a lot, preteen girls who doodle boys' names in their notebook all day instead of doing their homework, and anybody else who might blow off what the player wants to do in favor of thinking about or pursuing intimate relations.

Does the character have some kind of Code of Honor about keeping shady agreements?

"Ha-HA, you fool! Now that you have had your taste of my charms, it is time for you to uphold your word of honor and poison the Duke!"

"Uh, yeah, about that... that was what we call 'Pillow Talk,' baby..."

If the evil seducer insists that he poison the Duke first, he'd get his SC roll, try his Sex Appeal to change her mind, and then move on if he doesn't want to poison anybody, but he'll still take a shot.

I'd say if the majority of time there are no dwarf females around, with one encountered less than once a session, then it's a quirk. I might be willing to be talked into a higher disadvantage depending on the circumstances, but this is what I would start with.

When I used Lecherousness CR 12 for one of my characters, it represented his willingness and obsessive desire to sleep with just about any sentient woman, regardless of species. It took him away from patrol duties, distracted him when he was investigating, and got him punched and/or run off often. People also viewed him as a sleaze and/or took advantage of him because of his desire to sleep with them. It was really fun to play, and I was even able to work it to my advantage on occasion, but it was a serious disadvantage every single adventure.

A compulsive chatter may even give up important information to prostitutes and girlfriends, giving his or her enemies information they shouldn't have.
