Ouch, I want to mean GURPS Thaumatology: Urban Magics. I guess I remember "the first name" of the book before they changed it prior to its actual release.

So far as I can tell, Urban Magics is a completely different book from the never-published Fantasy Cities. I'm sure the content is related, of course. Indeed, Bill may very well have recycled a lot of text from the previous project. However, it definitely doesn't match the full description of FC, as rumor has trickled out to the rest of us.

Anyway, I suspect no one mentioned UM, despite its unquestionable quality, because it's a pretty special-purpose volume, not something most people would leap to add to the to-buy list of a new gamer who didn't mention anything suggesting a specific need for it.
