shows the takedown in cost per GB as follows:

Log (Cost/GB) = 572.51-0.2856(Year)

Where year is in 2005, etc.

So the cost/GB in 2005 was $1

Extrapolate from here...if you can project that on forever. That progression means we'll hit $1/TB in about 2015.

I'm in the storage industry...I'm pretty sure that's too aggressive. :-)
