Building a setting with Ice Age and Celtic Myth

Just wanted to ask if you know the comic Slaine? It's more or less "ice age celtic", well not really as it's not at all in any way historic, more mystical. But I remember it taking place during the ice age time, even if being highly anachronistic. But could maybe draw some ideas from it.
