Characters for practice combat

I recall sometime in the past a thread with a combat runthough with bare-bones characters described in it. Although I've been a fan of GURPS for a long time neither my players or I have had the chance to play a game using it and I intend to do so soon but first I want to run some practice combats. I figure that others may already have done the work and I was hoping for some good, generic "soldier/fighter" characters.

I could, I guess, go to Dungeon Fantasy, and toss characters together with that, but those even are more than I'm thinking. Maybe just 50 point characters to see how combat works with simple characters.

Does anyone have a link to that and/or characters that they'd be willing to share for such a purpose?
