See, I never had any moral conundrums killing things in my munchkin days, although we never worried whether they were evil or not. They probably were, since we were using (A)D&D, but it never came up. See my post above about how we played - we were callous and greedy ourselves.
I never saw why you needed evil people to kill to solve your moral conundrums, honestly. Not when you are a munchkin, and when "they are killing farmers and stealing their food, so I dont get any taxes; I'll pay you 10 gold for each orc head" is enough motivation for the squeamish.
