Does this mean that you CAN use 3-handed items? (3-handed sword) (Since the card says that the only restriction is 2-handed items, not 3-handed.)

Although, common sense would say that also 3-handed items are disabled.

Thanks.
Was there ever an answer to the question officially? This is the kind of thing I see having just enough loophole to go either way, common sense or not.

The Question on the OP was answered by a link (I think Kirk) gave in which Munchkinman (the official rules guy) says since the 3 handed sword uses at least 2 hands it does indeed count against the limit.
EDIT: Okay that answer leads to an interesting question which has came up twice in our games. I believe it's an epic warrior ability to carry 2 handed weapons with 1 hand. Does that mean she can carry the 3 handed sword with 2 hands? We all ruled no, but this seems similar. I could see arguments for either side.

MIB 2826 and Rev. Pee Kitty say no, here and here.

Since neither one was commented on by MM or Andrew, I'd say that is tacitly official.

Since that ability does not let the Warrior carry 1-handed weapons for free, I'd say you're outta luck.

I would still like to argue this. I know what the official ruling is, but maybe we can get some of them to change their minds. I'm not saying an epic warrior gets to carry 1-handed items for free. My interpretation of it is that two handed weapons take two hands because they are larger and heavier. His strength makes him so strong that he can wield a two handed item in one hand. No matter how light a one handed item might be, you still need one hand to carry it. Mathematically, it would take an epic warrior 1 and a half hands to carry the three handed sword, would which round up to two hands.

Yeah, that's not going to happen. The Three-Handed Sword takes three Hands. If you don't have at least three Hands, you have to Cheat.

Thanks Andrew and RevBob. We did rule it right. Thanks to others with your opinions too, I see where your logic comes from.
