Sorry for replying with a long overdue - I've been so busy last couple of days...
I'm taking good feedbacks here.

A good point of view here... could be of some use on that type of campaign setting...

A "professional skill (Winemaking)" should fill the "wine background" of the character here. First, it gives a default in Connoisseur (Wine) at -3. Second, such a field of competence will have little or no impact on the game, so keep it very simple (one all-encompassing skill) with a skill's difficulty Average or lower.

A streamlined approach, I like it... the character I'm working is supposed to have this skill just to justify his choice of retirement, being a small owner of vineyard, who work with the land and make some wine (good or not, doesn't matter...). The focus of the campaign is his past as legionnaire...
Is a skill to cover the history of the PC, or as you liked "flavour" skill. I personally liked to use flavour skills on my characters and estimulate the use by my players.

I wondering if that skill was not too much especific on selling wines?
I don't know much about this bussiness but I think that the person who makes the wine, it's not necessary the person who sell it.
