Sounds like overkill to me.
I think it's fine just to have
sets of clothing, defined by quality level, colour, and maybe fabric except if that's already part of quality level, ruggedness or durability (this is needed at least if fabric is not defined clearly), and any special effects such as terrain- or darkness-based camouflage, warmt or bonus to Sex Appal skill rolls.
