I don't think any GM pressed for time could casually create the level of detail that Matt put into this thing. I was playing around with the pre-production version today* and came up with the following bit of treasure using nothing** but random rolls:

Heavenly Mountain Blade:

A backsword (Martial Arts, p. 212) made of tempered glass, translucent but as sturdy as steel. The side of each blade features inlays of stained glass and metal beads forming a tableau of a mountain range. Its natural sharpness does +1 damage per die. Anyone leaning close to the sword can detect the scent of (demon's) blood, no matter how clean the blade is. When facing demons, the mystical properties come to life. First, the sword becomes wreathed in flames (for +2 follow-up damage). Second, attacks against a demon's vitals are done at only -1 to skill (instead of -3). $24,132; 3 lbs.

And just to be clear -- that is not some pre-made sword. It's the result of a whole bunch of options from several tables all coming together to make a unique piece of treasure. Real neat stuff, here.

* It's working its way through the process -- no release date set in stone yet, though, so please remain patient. :)
** Well, I had to name it, but I did so based on the details (mountain inlays, etc.) that the tables themselves provided.

Summoners also looks nice, as its a character concept I'd have a pretty hard time building.
Yeah -- the hardest part of creating a summoner is sitting down and coming up with one creatures after another after another that you can summon. All that work's been done, here. It definitely fills a unique niche as well, which is important in a DF game. (At least, the "summoner niche" is unique -- the four new templates in DF Summoners do overlap to some degree, though they're distinct enough to justify being separate.)
