I just don't see that. The -4 is there because he is still stunned, it's the "you are stunned" penalty. If the intent was to divorce the stunned penalty from the state of actually being stunned it would need to be made more clear in the rules.

Seconded :-)

As said in the Molokh's post before yours, the -4 is an effect of being stunned which lasts longer than the stun itself does.

I forgot how turns work:

Quote:
A given participant’s turn is the one-second period that stretches from when he chooses a maneuver until his next opportunity to select a maneuver. This overlaps the turns of other characters.
So, yes, your stun recovery roll (end of your turn) comes immediately before you would choose your maneuver (start of your next turn).

I think this might be a case of conflicting (Or unclear) rules, unfortunately. Most places (Such as casting magic) that have you roll at the end of your turn, seem to mean that as the last thing you do before the next person in the sequence takes their turn. That's why it's impossible to interrupt a one-second cast spell, and why it would have to make a reference to still having the penalty to defence for having been stunned even if you recovered.

It's still a little unclear, but I think that's how it's supposed to work...
