I was deciding whether to reply on this post (don't like to get all negative) when I realized I could be quite positive: you probably don't have all those books. Which probably cost all told somewhere between $40 and $80. So you can get $40-$80 worth of anecdotes and background plus all the rest of it in one far less expensive PDF!

I had the same experience with Espionage. It might have been a good introduction to the genre for people unfamiliar with it, but for people with an interest in it, it does not add anything that cannot be found in basic reference works.

I'd not rate it as anywhere close to GURPS Mysteries.
