Clarification on Dungeon of Lavish Loot
Durring a recent game of Munchkin the Dungeon of Lavish Loot card came up. We had a disagreement at our table of how to handle this modification to the game. I read the card as saying that instead of kicking/opening a door you just pick up two treasure cards and then your turn is over (discard/charity if you must). The others thought the card meant you had to open a door, if there was no monster then instead of you laying a monster card down/looking for trouble you could then pick up two treasure cards and end your turn.
They didn't understand how you could chose not to open a door and still find treasure. I tried to explain that the card says you wander the corridor (that the rooms and thus the doors are connected to), not the room to find the treasure. I don't know if its that they don't understand that your turn begins when the previous players turn ends, and not when you open the door, or maybe how I was explaining it.
Could someone please clarify how this card should be used.
