Sorry, what I meant was, to maintain your sample aircraft (F18 and E3?) you'd need Mechanic (High-Performance Aircraft) and Mechanic (Heavy Aircraft) and the appropriate Electronics Repair skills (EW, Sensor, Comm).
But you can't have Electronics Repair (High-performance Aircraft).
Puzzling, for my inner Munchkin, but logic prevails -
if you can fix a jet radio, it would be silly to think you couldn't fix any radio but being able to fix car bodywork doesn't make you a qualified shipwright.

For that matter, puzzling isn't really the right word - tiresome may be a better fit - my Lazy streak is irked by having to name all the skills required and my innner Munchkin wants to know why I can't cheat:)
