Yeah, we never noticed that line. Being able to sell extra Big items from your hand helps ameliorate half the reason for our "temporarily extra Big items" interpretation. And while blowing up items when Halflings are selling them from their hand would be fun, it doesn't happen often enough for us to justify making a rule change for it.

The player-to-player trade can be handled by enforcing gentleman's agreements to give someone another Big item after they take the first.
