Well my complaint was in general not specific to psionics.
The Astral Travel that lets you view the world is not typically the ability to also go to speak with Spirits. Also net psi by projection doesnt typically carry over to physical spying.
So a Jumper build rather then a Insubstantiality build works better for some. But somehow for a non four color game it just doesnt reach out and grab me.
