Not exactly pomo, but I've always figured IW could accomodate a parallel where Homo sapiens either was more closely related to the bonobo, or just evolved so that sexual behavior was closer to that of the bonobo, such that people really did routinely have casual sex at the drop of a hat much like in porn movies up through, say, the 70s and 80s. Never really worked out much of the implications for other aspects of society, or what further sociobiological handwaving would be needed to account for changing trends in such movies into the 90s and oughts, but it could still be a popular tourist destination for Infinity customer s(for those with the right shots, naturally). Not sure if it should be called Bonobo-1, or something more current like Holmes-1 or Chambers-1... although neither of the latter is really appropriate that they have nothing to with the actual divergence point.
