In The Psionic powers Book Skills such as Psi Sense are used with more than one ability ( eg. Signature Sniffer and Psi sense), and have techniques listed seperately under each ability, but bearing the same name. Are they the same, single technique, which may be used with both abilities, or are they different techniques ? obviously the many instances of same name techniques defaulting from different skills are discrete traits , but in the former case it is not so clear. Judgment calls anyone?
(hopefully they are a single , technique, which may be used with either ability, as this will make modelling them in GCA much simpler) |

They are the same skill, so if the techniques have the same name they are the exact same technique. For example:
1. First, you buy Psi Sense and the Psi Sense skill 2. Then you buy up the Increased Range (Psi Sense) technique 3. Later on, you buy Signature Sniffer (for the 5 point "bargain price") You do not need to buy another skill for Signature Sniffer (it uses Psi Sense skill) and your Increased Range technique works for both abilities (since it's a technique of the skill, not of the ability).
