Default Re: Review of Play: The Saga of the Westmarch DF Game

Session 48

This was just a big bash, though apparently very tense from the player's side. No major rule questions came up. The ogres with Combat Reflexes are just skilled enough to be annoying - they have good enough defenses to avoid most attacks, and though they aren't super accurate, 2d+6 damage is enough to scare everyone but Mrugnak.

For once, we didn't have any rules disputes. There was a lot of bad rolls that prevented cool stuff from happening, such as Ayake blowing a couple of attack rolls or Mrugnak suffering a take-down from a pair of goblins, but also some funny bits like when Mrugnak backhanded a goblin off the tower.

The delvers still haven't cleared the gates. In a week or two (hopefully), we're going to find out whether the whole "charge the gates" plan was a good idea, or if they just restaged Dieppe. I'm betting on the latter.
