Could you talk more about this? Who has the sense of superiority? The players? The PCs? The GM? and superiority over what/whom? People who don't play conspiracy-centric games? NPCs? The Players? Morality? Reality? Are you talking about all conspiracy-centric games? Or Hitean conspiracy-centric games? Espionage? Horror? Weirdness? Mystical? Cyberpunkian?

I ask because I've never gotten a sense of smugness or superiority from the conspiracy-centric games I've been involved in. Heck, I've played in D&D fantasy games that were conspiracy-centric. So...I guess I'd like to understand your position more.
