A New Jerusalem supplement?

Ok, I confess my sins: I'm definitely Roman Catholic! :D
If you checked my profile you know I'm a Theology studest, so if you combine the two things you can understand that I'm really interested in a New Jerusalem supplement and I hope it could be something different from "tyrannical Pope-king and his zealots". :P

I'm imaging New Jerusalem as an "Arcadia-like" planet with a government somewhat reminiscent of the 19th century Papal State, but more synodal (and so less autocratical). I'm particulary curious about its army (templars? hospitallers?) and if there are forms of communion and communication between New Jerusalem and eventual jerusalemite "catholic bishops" on Terra Nova.
