I am the mouthpiece for SJ when it comes to Munchkin. I say as much in this thread. My name is also listed here. I don't know what more your friends need, but if they need SJ saying something to them personally, I'm sure we could try to arrange it, but I'm never going to make promises on his behalf. . .
Seriously, though: Anything I say here or on the Yahoo group (the official mailing list), is official. Also, look at Andrew's title. It was announced a couple of weeks back that he's the Munchkin line manager, though SJ calls him the Munchkin Czar. How can that title be viewed as "just a player"? |

Hello, I have a question pertaining to order of play/card stacks.
The other night, I was in a game and one player opened a door and was facing a level 17 lightning bug or something. Anyway, this was going to win the game for him, so I played Curse! Lose 2 Cards where the players on his left and right each pick a card from his hand to discard. Earlier in the game we had discussed this thread (going over FIFO and whatnot). But after I cursed him, he started playing out his, Illusioning the 17 into a 3, and cursing players and whatnot, but I figured the Curse lose two cards happened first. He agreed with me on the FIFO thing, but said that he has a chance to respond, and he did so by playing out his hand. Which should have happened, the curse played out (unless stopped by wishing ring, other ring sacrifice, etc), or does he really have a chance to play out his hand? Thanks for your help. |
