I just realised that the "or crouch" on p. 104 of Martial Arts not only contradicts the Basic Set, it also contradicts the last sentence in the same paragraph of p. 104 (I even already mentioned that in my last post without realizing it ;).

If it takes a DX or Fast-Draw roll at -3 to ready a weapon "if you crouch first", it doesn't make sense to say that it normally takes two Ready maneuvers when you are crouching (i. e. without a roll).
So I'm pretty sure that the "or crouch" in line 2 of that paragraph in Martial Arts is an erratum.

That's at least how I will play it unless The Powers That Be clarify otherwise... ;-)
