Here's my first attempt at making some ships using Spaceships. I chose to stat out three of the Colonial vessels from Battlestar Galactica as an exercise and test of how close I could get the designs seen in the series.
I set the Colonial TL at 9 with superscience including FTL drives, grav compensation and artificial gravity. I included reactionless drives in this tech base as it seems to fit the way the ships work on screen. No huge thrust drives and the smaller ships like Vipers and Raptors are limited by the duration of their fuel driven power supplies. Comments, critiques and suggestions are all welcome! Overall, I'm impressed with the simplicity and elegance of the Spaceships design rules too. This is a a fantastic supplement and I can't wait for further releases.
