Basically, what Sean said.

- they are roleplaying aids, so you know how a fighter with that style will act in combat.

- they're as accurate as we can make them. Generally, yes, normal Attacks will be most common, but that in turn depends on the style. We did our best to provide enough information that someone new to the style would know what it would fight like.

- we reality checked everything in those descriptions. Some of them may have inaccuracies or overstate (or understate) the importance of a tactic. But that's in spite of our checking. We didn't purposely inflate or distort anything.

As to which style will beat which one, try them out. Some styles are much better for one thing than for another. How you set the test will determine which styles will come out on top.
