Default Dungeon Fantasy Titans and Dragons

Titans and Dragons are created by the gods, just like the sidhe and fomor. They live in the faery realm and often have children with the spirits. The children of dragons with fire spirits made fire dragons, with storm spirits lightning dragons, with ice spirits ice dragons, river spirits river dragons, sea spirits sea dragons and many others.
The children of titans with fire spirits were fire giants, with ice spirits ice giants, with stone spirits stone giants, with mountain spirits mountain giants, storm spirits storm giants, hill spirits hill giants, and many others. Some dragons were unique like the hydra who produced many hydra children. It is also rumored that the cyclops, many headed giants and other ugly giants were the result of a cross between titans and fomor.
The dragons, being very powerful, were always able to enter the mortal realm but they did not do so in large numbers until the faery realm was opened. Once that happened the dragons ( who were children of dragons and spirits )became mortal (in the mortal realm ), very long lived however, and they sought protection in caves and remote locations. Their love of gold and other precious things remained just as strong as it was in the faery realm. In the mortal world, thae magic is not as strong so they must sleep for long periods of time, often dreaming of returning to the faery realm.
The titans and their children were sometimes able to come to the mortal realm before the faery world was ripped open, but ususally it took a god to send them there. Once the faery world was open, giants were swept in great numbers.
The titans, dragons and their children were also impacted by the first fall of the faery, when the faeries divided between the Seelie and Unseelie. Some were neutral however. The Seelie remained in the upper world while the Unseelie were sent to live undergound or in desolate places.
