The sidhe are the ancient fey who are unbelievable power. They are said to have been created by the gods. They live in the faery realm and are said to be one of the first fey. It is rumored that there were also spirits in the realm, like river spirits, tree spirits, lake spirits and many thers. It is further rumored that the lesser faeries; elves, dwarves, sprites, pixies, nymphs and others are the children of sidhe and nature spirits.The sidhe rule over the other spirits and lesser fey. The sidhe were unbelievable beautiful and powerful and unfortunately there were also beings who were unbelievable ugly and wicked, these were the fomor. The fomor are said to have been the ancestors of orcs, trolls, hobgoblins and other wicked faery. For a while the sidhe and fomor were separate but eventually encounters led to war. This was the first fall of the faery realm. Eventually the fomor and the lesser faery were driven underground or to remote areas. The fomor and evil faeries dug tunnels through the underworld. The fomor taught the evil faeries magic like how to poison or curse. On the surface, the sidhe taught the the elves, dwarves and other how the create magical items and use magical powers. Both the fomor and sidhe formed courts, the sidhe created the Seelie, the fomor the Unseelie. There were some faeries who whe unaligned however and they lived in more remote areas. The sidhe ruled the upper world and the fomor the underworld. The second fall of the faery realm began as some of the sidhe and children of sidhe began to behave as wickedly as the fomor and fomor children. The wicked sidhe and sidhe children were eventually driven to to the underworld along with the fomor. It is rumored that some of the wicked sidhe children became the shadow elves, hell gnomes, and dark dwaves. In the underworld the evil faeries and fomor forged an uneasy alliance, usually with those of sidhe blood getting the better of it. The fomor and their children were never successful in defeating the sidhe and their children. Some of wicked sidhe were rumored to become banshees and leanan -sidhe. The third fall of the faery realm was the attack of the underworld faeries on the surface ones. This battle was epic and eventually ripped open the faery realm and swept many of their kind into other worlds. The sidhe who were swept into other world became mortal uness they were able to live in areas that were highly magical. Often they intermarried with human and other mundane folk to give their offspring great powers. Most of the sidhe returned to the faery realm. The children of the sidhe were not powerful enough to get back so they became mortal and began to build societies there. The fomor who were swept away were less lucky they were cut off from the faery realm and could never return. They lost their magical powers. The faery realm was ripped open but it was later repaired. It is rumored that the part of the faery world broke away and is now in Hell. The rumor came from Halloween, it is said that on Halloween the faery realm opens and lets the faeries come to the mortal realm. Some creatures from Hell also come to the mortal realm at this time as well as undead. It is also said that fomor regained their magical powers when part of the faery realm was sent to Hell. This is further evidenced by the fact that fomors are affected by the powers of good.
