Now the question of how to make gift copies from e23 or how to get permission to make multiple printouts becomes urgent. I would really like to give this out to several people - but how do I do so legally ?
(Of course I could simply give them the money, but that´s not the same. To begin with, most or all would except a copy, but not the money to buy it themselves.) |

I have a different question...
Can you use this with GURPS Lite to run a quick 'n dirty adventure? Does the chapter on spells describe the spells in usable detail or only list the names of a subset of spells which must be looked up in the Basic Set or Magic?

GDF:A does not reproduce any rules/spells/etc. from the main books. You cannot really use it with Lite to run a game, as Lite has no spells/powers and very weak rules for environments, etc. You need books. Specifically, you need the Basic Set, and you need Magic if you want lots of spells. You do not need Martial Arts or Powers, though the latter will offer some insight into the new powers in GDF:A and the former will be incredibly useful for knights/barbarians/etc. And you definitely do not need Fantasy -- this is sort of the "counterpoint" to Fantasy, intentionally rejecting its advice on building solid plots and a rich, detailed background for your game world. :)

We recognize that neither solution is ideal. We are working on a "gift certificate" solution. Sadly, we have no timeline for it's implementation.

I can't dissociate Fantasy from Dungeon Fantasy at all. Even trying to do it "rips me apart" :-S Quote:

As I said, not in any way ideal. We'll be fixing the problem this year.
