Skill Trees and Alternate Talent Benifits

I’m considering switching over to GURPS Power-Ups 10: Skill Trees, but we also use the alternate benefits to Talents and really like them. I was wondering if anyone had advice for making them work together. Mostly its hoe to price the alternative benefits that are giving us problems.

Hi,
Reaction bonus is Reputation with cost 1.66 to 2.5 points per level.
So you can treat alternative benefits as 2 points per level. Or as an advantage/perk.
Or you can just say that trunks give some "resist ancient mind altering tomes" skill
