They prefer to go ahead without him, but if he pushes for it, they will relent (Peter beat Leon's will, mostly due to good dice rolling)

They made contact the night before, so we were waiting to be brought in, and I had said that if Peter didn't hear anything by lunch, he would want to look into his own thing while they wait.

If they want to go in in the morning without Peter, they would be the ones bringing up the subject of them all leaving. That could be awkward...

But in the end, Peter wouldn't be too worried about it. He would like a way to reach them, and an assurance they would be in touch soon. Any additional resources he might be able to use to make himself comfortable while he waits would be nice.

"You only pay if you need to cast. If you are looking for a teacher... we have a list you can put your name on. check back every day or so to see if someone is willing to take you on as an apprentice."

Peter will be polite and clear, and try and charm the woman as best he can.

"What's your name?"

"I'm sorry to put you out, but I just don't know the rules. So if I want to use magic, I have to pay you? It would be privately."

"I'm not much of a 'list-guy'... Who's the best? I'm more a 'go-out-and-get-him-guy'. If by some miracle I could get them to take on a student, who would that be, and where can I find them?
