"I never asked actually. I jut kind of assumed. I heard about it from a law enforcement type guy who was a friend of my family."

They're probably disappointed, but that contingency was arranged for.

It was Peter's stated course of action.
Quote:
They find an inn on the east side of the city (they came from the south) and settle down to wait while Leon goes looking.
The city has a lot of little magic flickering in it. Some is mages, some is enchantments. He has never felt this kind of variety in magic before.

"This is pretty amazing. I have got to have a look around! Can I come with you Leon?"
Probably more likely Rajat would look after Peter if he wants to look around and they let him, but he gives it a shot.

Rajat cautions this could be the hardest part of the journey: they don't know how their contacts in this city have been doing, or if they're run into trouble, or even the current name of their business.

"How is Leon gonna find them then?"

The city also has a lot of people who don't look like bog-standard humans. Peter spots lots of what must be goblins, two kinds of short dwarvish people (one thin, one very stocky), an elf or two, and even a sort of lizard-person.

Peter is likely to be caught staring as he takes it all in, focusing on one curiosity after another. He will flash a disarming smile if anyone starts to appear disturbed by his gaze when it lingers too long. He is curious to capture the languages of these people to see what they are like, but is wary to throw around alien magic in the city.
