Default Minor Bug Report in Fantasy Folk Kobolds data file

Creating a character using the "Heroic Kobold (Dungeon Fantasy)" template in "GURPS Fantasy Folk Kobolds.gdf", I noted that the template includes the advantages "Extra Perception 3 (Affects Per +0%) and "Extra Will 2 (Affects Per +0%). Looking at the characters stats, I confirmed that the character's Perception and Will had indeed been raised by 5 and 0 levels respectively above IQ, rather than the 3 and 2 levels that are listed in the book and were presumably intended.

[As a side note, is there any simple way to disable the "locking" of a template's components so that I can edit them on a specific character even when the template would ordinarily be locked?]

Right click the template and select 'Convert to Parent/Child'.

Also keep in mind that the standard procedure in GURPS is to differences from racial templates with traits. For instance, a dwarf that doesn't see well in the dark would have Dwarf [35] and No Night Vision [-5]. Aside from preserving what "Dwarf" means, it also means nonstandard versions of races have their lack of racial advantages count against the disadvantage limit.

Thanks, that's useful. Is there any way I can convert it back to being treated as a template when I'm done with it?

Mostly, I'm thinking of using it for cases like the one in the OP, to be able to jury-rig a fix for a malformed template on a character without having to go digging around for the source files.
