When do we get to see the Smart Delvers?
Anything beyond combat magic requires a game master because there are just too many possibilities. It would be possible to do a solo where a wizard was not much more than a reskinned scout shooting fireballs instead of arrows, but I'm not sure that would really scratch the itch.

I've GMed Saethor's Bane for two different groups with Smart Delvers (wizards, cleric, druid, and bard) and it worked just fine. It definitely needed a human though, though, to adjudicate the interesting things the PCs tried to use magic to accomplish.

I believe Death Test 2 (In the Labyrinth) has wizards. Lots of people play solo games with various systems including D&D. They often use an RPG Oracle. Fantasy games should allow magic users. One way for a new GM to learn the game is to first play it solo. SJ Games and by extension Gaming Ballistic need to foster that whenever possible.

As Doug said, he can only publish what people are willing to write.

Warlock Knight is now LIVE on Kickstarter.

It met its funding goal in 10 minutes (that's not a surprise; it was set low because there was no way I wasn't publishing it), so there's no uncertainty here. There are no stretch goals, either. This one gets the additional content needed, laid out, art in place, and then done.

BACKED! Many thanks for adding the Saethor's Bane print option as well, really looking forward to getting hard copies of both now :)

Glad you liked it, and thank you!

You're quite welcome! SB and WK are both fantastic in different ways.

The PDF and Digital Accessories pack - PNG tokens, JPG maps, and the QR-card digital file, plus GCS data for the actors in the adventure - have been published to backers.

For the next week, I'll be taking "oops, error here!" (say that with one of the voices from L4D2) input from playtesters, but I did almost all of the fights myself and at least two independent playtesters gave the same fights run-throughs. So I'm hopeful that while challenging in places, it's the way GURPS adventures are usually challenging: you're never more than one or two hits, or one crit, away from total disaster.

For the next 16 days (ending Oct 30), the campaign will accept late pledges. This is the same price and availability as during the Kickstarter. So if you don't like crowdfunding and do like instant gratification, you can have it for a bit more than the next two weeks.

Late Pledges Available for Warlock Knight
