Armored Wings?

I think the base Limitation assumes wings cannot be armored, as there is simply no armor listed for purchase that covers the wings. I think the default assumption is "mostly realistic."

Could Archangel from X-Men theoretically put additional armor on his wings? I don't know. He certainly could not as Angel.
