Metric wouldn't really make sense to me anyway, since that system is derived originally from the size of the Earth, and of course Cidri isn't Earth.

Technically, it was the new edition that switched to imperial, but the original rulebooks used the metric system. It's hard to teach some of us old dogs new tricks. ;)

And don't forget that everyone on Cidri originally came from Earth (many Earths).
