Wow! Hexagram Vault. Big Oopsie!
I just received my Hexagram Vault in the mail that I have been eagerly waiting for and I suddenly realized my mistake. When I ordered it I was looking to see which Hexagrams and other accessories I still needed to order. When I saw this I made the mistake of thinking that it would include the 10 Hexagrams that it says it holds. I already have purchased 3 of them in pdf, but I thought that having the printed ones in a box would be ok (and the price made it sound like a really good deal). I have those 3 printed out on letter-size sheets, and of course, they will not fit in the vault, so considering the price and shipping, I ended up paying close to $30 for a piece of printed die cut cardboard that I don't need and honestly don't even want. I'd like to ask for a refund, but I don't want to spend any more money on shipping. Caveat emptor, I guess. I just successfully pitched a Fantasy Trip campaign to my gaming group, but I think that was a wasted effort, too. Needless to say I am far more disappointed than I expected to be. Whatever.
I've already bought everything twice! First time back in the late '70s (I might have missed a couple of the adventure modules that came in folders, but I have EVERYTHING else, including the GM screen), and recently the legacy edition (I've been making an 8-panel DIY GM screen out of canvas boards, white duct tape, and sheet protectors, and fighting with the pdfs to print out individual pages for the panels). Maybe I'll try D&D.
