Actually, I was trying highlight how the TFT weapons table differs from GURPS. I'm OK that TFT uses a derived, but not direct, mapping between weapon damage and ST.

And by "modified by" I was referring to a fairly common house-rule that grants damage bonuses when the character's ST exceeds the minimum required by a particular threshold (usually 2 or 3 points).
