Anoras (thinking): I may not be able to see colors, but that is definitely blood. Let's see what I can do. I hope I'm not too late. The man probably can't hear me. But as Rhiannon taught me, the mind can surprise you. So just in case....

Anoras (speaking): "War Chief Janden, it is I, Anoras Naturas, come to treat your wounds. I see you've been defending people as you're so good at doing. Now it's my job to do everything I can to make you better."

Janden: "They have... great powers. Ones ... I have not seen before. One of them ... stuns quickly.... not like Hyruset*. Something... wrong with the birds.... A new mask.... A new Sorcerer.... they took the boys... and girls... rescue.... our youth."

*The local venasir sorcerer, who can stun a warrior as long as they maintain eye contact, but not longer than that.

Cassandra tries to think of what might be a useful thing for her to be doing

Thad approaches the downed skeleton, axe at the ready in case of any treachery. He plants a heavy boot on the severed spine to pin it to the ground.

"Who is your master?" he asks. "And where can I find them?"

OOC: Rolled 13 against a default Interrogation of 4 (lol), plus any situational modifiers.

The Skeleton wiggles under the massive foot and tries to get free, but shows no fear. Or the ability to get up. It gnashes its teeth at Thad.

OOC: I admit this is iffy. But Anoras does have an effective 17 with First Aid (skill 16+1 for First Aid Kit), and surgery defaults to First Aid-12. Of course I realize you could consider the First Aid roll Anoras already made as being a failure on surgery.

You can try for the sky! that would be a new roll.

You can also move on with other activities: PbP often works well with several things that happen at about the same time.

Thad reaches down and grabs the skull, intending to rip it from the spine and take it to Anoras to examine.
