Does anyone know the status of this from August 2020?
https://www.sjgames.com/ill/archive/...ip_Companion_2. I would love to see another TFT Companion book!

I'd love to see this too -- until your post I'd completely forgotten they'd promised us this. It sounded ready to go, and there was even a completed cover (and a fine cover it is... was? woulda been? will be?) Perhaps there was a last minute snag with the legalities.

Last year Phil Reed made a comment (either here or on FB.. I'd have to dig around for it) indicating that the plan had changed; that instead of of a stand-alone compendium of the old Fantasy Forum articles, the content they had collected would likely get reworked and presented in upcoming Hexagrams. I reached out to Lester Smith and he confirmed this change of direction. In fact, he even posted what was to be the introduction to the Companion 2 on his own blog at the time.
https://lestersmith.com/2020/09/conf...-a-tft-addict/ Apparently, Lester's 'Rapier to Rapier' article (Hexagram #6) was intended to be the first of a series for this new direction but I guess SJG's plans changed again since we haven't seen another article since. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we'll still see those articles someday, but I suspect they may be a casualty of a more forward-looking bias for new TFT content.
