Yup...
BITD, I had two methods for reducing lethality. Method 1 was simplest: If an ally or enemy rolled a task of difficulty equal to amount negative, the character is temporarily reduced by that amount of ST until full, requiring medicine, magic, or rest to recover at all, then one of those comes back per week of rest and physical therapy... Note that magic alone results in permanent reduction but more immediate return to functional. Method 2 was more convoluted and I'm fuzzy on the details at the moment. |
